Composition, the act of composing the image in the viewfinder, is a visual process of organizing the elements and individual details of a scene into a balanced arrangement. The main elements of composition in photography are; Rule of Thirds, Balancing Elements, Leading Lines, Symmetry and Patterns, Viewpoint, Background, Depth and Experimentation.
Rule of Thirds
The rule of thirds is applied by aligning a subject with the guide lines and their intersection points, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line, or allowing linear features in the image to flow from section to section

Birds Eye View

A worm's-eye view is a view of an object from below, as though the observer were a worm; the opposite of a bird's-eye view.
